The distribution of goods through the streets of Girona with sustainable transport systems is one of the initiatives from the Girona City Council, as included in the Urban Mobility Plan approved in December 2014.
The sustainable messaging service has been launched by Cáritas Diocesana de Girona and Ecosol, the entity's job placement company. It is an electric tricycle called El Tricicle Verd with which an innovative, ecological and sustainable parcel delivery and distribution service is offered in Girona. In addition, this service provides work for people in situations of social vulnerability.
