The writer's notable works include 'The Gardener's Son', 'Suttree', 'Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West', 'No Country for Old Men', made into a movie by the Coen brothers and winner of 4 Oscars, 'The Passenger' and 'Stella Maris'.
